Stark Industries was founded in 1962 as a machine shop in Houson, Texas by Jess Stark. As the business evolved and because of his interest in diving, Jess Stark steered Stark Industries into manufacturing specialized high pressure compressor systems in 1969. These "breathing air" compressors quickly established Stark Industries as one of the leaders in providing the best high pressure fill systems available on the market today.

Breathing air compressors from Stark Industries were designed to handle large volumes of high pressure air and other gas mixtures. Compressor unit features included specially designed blast containment protection, high pressure filtration, serviceability features like oil sight glasses and easy access to components. Safety has always been a top priority for Jess Stark who is also a master diver.

As Stark industries moved past the year 2000, the design and reliability of Stark high pressure compressors drew attention from the Oil industry, specifically: oil exploration. The high pressure Stark Compressors were ideally suited for the requirements of high pressure air for siesmic exploration. Offshore environments were no problem for the high pressure, self contained Stark compressors. Built with stainless steel fittings and protected with the best anti-corosion systems available, Stark's compressors can withstand the harshest corrosive environments and run like new for a very long time.

Stark Industries success in supplying high pressure compressors for seismic oil exploration has created a large demand for units available for lease. As a result, Stark maintains a large inventory of compressors and cycles each one through it's rigorous inspection and re-manufacturing process before sending them to the field where they absolutely have to run. Stark does not "farm out" this critical work. All maintenance, manufacturing and refurbishing is performed in our own 35,000 square foot facility in Houston.
